Store Policy

order and deliverY

In order to provide the freshest possible product we pick and sew orders according to the specified delivery date. Therefore we encourage orders to be placed at least ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE so that we can plan our workflow and manage our staff effectively.  If you place a rush order, we will do our best to accommodate. If for any reason we are unable to fulfill your order, you will be notified and refunded within 48 hours of placing your order.

 

RUSH ORDERS

Orders placed within 7 days of the delivery date will be considered a rush order. If a rush order is accepted an additional 15% fee may be billed prior to processing the order. However, we will be happy to accommodate your rush order free of charge if our workload permits. We recommend you contact us via email prior to placing any orders within the 7-day advanced notice requirement to verify if your order can be processed.

DELIVERY

We do not offer shipping at this time. Pick up and local delivery is available at these rates for the following Maui areas:

PICK UP (BY APPT. ONLY) 

Pick up location is in Kahului (near Papa and Puunene)

After your order is placed,  we will confirm your designated pick up date and time via email.

LOCAL DELIVERY ($80 minimum order is required for delivery)

  • Kahului, Wailuku (96732, 96793) - $15 delivery charge

  • Kihei, Paia, Makawao, Pukalani, Haiku, Kula (96753, 96779, 96768, 96788, 96708, 96790) - $30 delivery charge

After your order is placed,  we will notify you via email of the expected time frame for your delivery on the delivery date specified.

Customers will also receive a delivery notification email or text on the day of the delivery. Someone must be present to receive and sign for the delivery. Undeliverable items will not be refunded.

BLACKOUT DATES

We accept online orders for May through September. If we reach our order capacity for any given date, we will mark it as a BLACKOUT DATE on our website. Orders placed for blackout dates will not be honored.

PRODUCT CARE

Pakalana is a fragile blossom. Proper care and handling is crucial for longer lasting lei. Here are important tips on caring for your pakalana lei prior to use. 

  • Pick up or delivery of your pakalana lei should be scheduled for within 24 hours of event for optimal freshnesss.

  • Refrigeration/storage should be limited to 24 hours. ItÊ»s scent will gradually fade.

  • Keep wrapped in dry, paper towel and store in refrigerator.

  • Minimize touching and handling of the lei prior to presentation/use.

CANCELLATION & REFUND

Order cancellations and refunds must be requested 7 days or more prior to scheduled delivery date. This allows us to make adjustments to our supply, production, and staffing schedule in a timely manner.

Cancellation requests received within 7 days of scheduled delivery date may not be refunded. We will consider refunds on a case by case basis.
